ALAMOSA (April 13, 2017) – Adams State University football signee, Becca Longo, will be featured on ABC's Good Morning America on Friday morning. The interview is scheduled to air at approximately 7:44 a.m. MT.
It's believed that Longo is the first female student-athlete to earn a football scholarship at a NCAA Institution (DII level or higher). The Arizona native has also signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play on the Adams State women's basketball team. During her senior season with Basha High School, Longo made 35-of-38 extra point attempts as well as a 30-yard field goal.
Longo's signing with Adams State has garnered national headlines from ESPN, CNN, Daily Mail, and various regional media outlets.
